News Flash! 7/23/08 Steve Matrisch, attorney for the ILCC, has informed our attorney that the ILCC has now stopped writing tickets to enforce Public Law 095-0562, the Illinois Commercial Safety Towing Law, and he advised that we may disseminate this fact! This voluntary act by the Commission is very helpful, for it will take off some of the pressure and allow us to concentrate on the issues of the case.
They discussed where we have been and where we are going with this law; Mr. Matrisch stated that the Commission turned the lawsuit over to the Office of Attorney General.
If anyone hears of tickets being issued, have copies faxed to the association attorney (though don’t inform any recipient that he is “handling” the ticket or providing representation, we just need the document for the lawsuit and for informational purposes).
